BRIG welcomes Birmingham’s city-wide commitment to a future Beyond Racism.
We welcome the Birmingham City Partnership Board’s statement, Forward Together for a City Beyond Racism, published on 24 November. It sends a clear message: our city stands firmly for fairness, inclusion and mutual respect — and remains committed to becoming a world-leading anti-racist city by 2035.
BRIG is proud to have helped initiate and coordinate this statement on behalf of the Partnership, ensuring Birmingham spoke with one strong, united voice at a moment that called for clarity and courage.
We look forward to working with the Board and all its members to turn these commitments into real, tangible action for our communities.
