Cysters x Jamaica Hurricane Melissa Disaster Support
The Cysters Group, widely known for its dedication to women’s reproductive health and dignity, has stepped forward to support those affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
The hurricane has left countless people facing not only the immediate challenges of disaster recovery but also the struggle to access essential items for daily life. Menstrual care products in Jamaica are already costly, and in the aftermath of such devastation, access becomes even more limited. The Cysters Group believes that no one should have to worry about managing their period during a disaster.
To address this urgent need, the group has organised a collection drive to donate essential menstrual health items directly to those most affected. While the Cysters Group will be personally contributing to the effort, they are inviting the wider community to get involved and help gather as many donations as possible.
Items being collected include:
Menstrual products
Wipes
Nappy sacks
Underwear
Flannels

The group is also hosting a supportive space for those affected by baby loss, fertility struggles, IVF journeys, and broader women’s health concerns. This session provides a safe environment to share experiences and connect with others.
