Birmingham Race Impact Group (BRIG) has been invited to contribute to two upcoming Birmingham City Council consultation events, offering an opportunity for communities to share their views and help shape the city's future.
Birmingham City Council is inviting residents, community organisations and stakeholders to participate in two important consultations: the Corporate Plan Consultation and the Public Sector Equality Duty Consultation.
These consultations provide an opportunity for BRIG members and the wider community to influence the Council's priorities, contribute to decision-making and share their perspectives on how the Council can better serve Birmingham's diverse communities.
The Corporate Plan Consultation will explore the Council's future priorities and plans, while the Public Sector Equality Duty Consultation will provide an opportunity to discuss the Council's responsibilities to promote equality, tackle discrimination and ensure fairness across its services and policies.
As BRIG continues its work towards making Birmingham an anti-racist city by 2035, opportunities for meaningful community participation and accountability remain essential.
